Onlai’s passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine began in her childhood. She grew up in an environment where acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine were the primary approaches to address her health concerns and prevent illness. Onlai was immersed in this ancient wisdom from an early age, from taking Chinese herbal remedies to engaging in discussions about natural Chinese medicine with her family. Onlai particularly believes in the Chinese medical principle of holistic health, which emphasizing the importance of considering overall health instead of solely focusing on individual symptoms during the healing process.
After completing her undergraduate studies in sociology and anthropology, Onlai embarked on a four-year, in-depth master’s program in Chinese Medicine. She gained valuable experiences from working in overseas hospitals, dedicating thousands of clinical hours to practicing acupuncture, tui-na massage therapy, fire cupping, gui-sha, and moxibustion treatments on patients. During her clinical internship in China, Onlai had the privilege of learning from some of the best dermatologists, endocrinologists, and orthopedists in the field of Chinese medicine.
