Dr. Onlai Cheang was exposed to Chinese medicine from childhood, but chose to re-examine this ancient tradition through a modern lens by pursuing formal academic training. She holds a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from California, where her clinical experiences deepened her conviction that Chinese medicine requires rigorous validation and systematic practice to serve patients most effectively.
Seeking to elevate her expertise, Dr. Onlai completed nearly a year of intensive clinical training in China and Macau, treating high volumes of patients daily at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and a leading orthopedic acupuncture clinic. Training under senior specialists and department heads, she managed complex cases across dermatology, endocrinology, gynecology, orthopedics, and internal medicine—gaining the depth of clinical insight that only master-level mentorship can provide.
Dr. Onlai has been practicing Chinese medicine since 2018.
