Traditional Chinese Medicine can support a wide range of health needs, from acute symptoms and chronic health concerns to everyday wellness. What makes it different is how we look at the body: as one interconnected system, rather than a collection of separate symptoms. A headache, for example, doesn't always mean we only look at the head. We ask what else might be contributing to it, then use acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to address underlying patterns and support the body's natural healing processes.
Chinese medicine has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with its traditions and later receiving clinical training in China shaped how I understand health and care for others. Today, as a licensed acupuncturist in Pasadena, I bring that foundation together with modern medical research and Western medical knowledge. I believe tradition and science work best in conversation. For me, good care begins with curiosity, thoughtful clinical reasoning, and taking the time to understand you, not just your symptoms.
